A secret hides within our society, within our bodies, our cells, our very DNA. At times this secret reveals itself - the past, ancient times, prehistory - and those are days of hunger and terror. The human rqace trembles, then, it's eyes ripped open, revealing humanity's true place in the Universe. With out machines and medicine and psychology, we think we've mastered the terrified monkey within, but when that this shell of self-deceit tears away, when we face the truth, it shatters our mind.
 
It always has. It always will.
 
An embedded research team, hidden from a nearby tribe of flesh hungry zombies, reveals their hiding place in order to rescue their own hopelessly overwhelmed rescue team. Within a matter of minutes they find themselves under attack as well. But a surprise lies in store for them - this is not the only tribe of zombies nearby and the humans eventually discover that some things are more important to zombies than flesh-eating.
